( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently? In addition, characters will find that they've been allowed to bring back souvenirs from this most recent trip - trinkets, nothing violent, but items that can fit in your character's pockets, whether that be sentimental or otherwise.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. For those who have been here a while, they might notice some expansions. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
It might've changed since the last time you saw it. Today it reads:
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin. In addition to that, it seems like Home Base is on the fritz again…?
It seems that suddenly and at random, characters will be able to suddenly see visions of memories that aren't their own flash before their eyes. Pieces of your lives or where you were before this will suddenly slam into other's heads, as clearly as if they experienced the event and the feelings themselves. You might have an inkling of where your memory went and what it was - but you'll need to talk it out with that person in order to recollect it in all its strength back to yourself. Don't you want to keep those precious parts of yourself? It's best if you don't fall more to pieces while you're here. (Memories that have been lost in fragments cannot be sent to others - that's more fun for the future!)
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Or maybe you'll get a glimpse of where you're going next. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

(*´ω`)o That wasn't so bad, was it?
Hey, you know how that old song goes?
Do you believe in magic? (☆▽☆) Do ya?
Hope you found what you were looking for!

just in time for water gw
only to turn on the camera and start recording. ]
Yeah dude, you almost got 'em! You've taken a huge chunk out of its HP already!
[ oh he's just a leecher NEVER MIND ]
no subject
W-What are you talking about?! What is its HP? Is it a particular part of this machine?! What do you know about this infernal construct of war?!
[Machinery: 2, Grimnir: 0]
no subject
That's just a car wash! You can defeat it by enduring its attacks as it slowly consumes you entirely!
[ STOP ]
no subject
[Occasionally even Grimnir catches wise.]
no subject
[ COME ONNNN HE'S GOT TO GET THIS ON CAM ]
no subject
[He doesn't wanna get vored by a machine, though?]
...Very well! I shall take this fight to its very heart!
[Rather than let it consume him slowly as suggested, he just runs right in there.
The scream that emerges from the car wash is nothing short of legendary.]
no subject
still laughing his ass off, he runs to the other end of the car wash, waiting for grimnir to emerge like a wet cat. ]
Come on, you're at the final stretch now! Give it an OHKO!
[ QUICK WHERE'S THE SHIVA SUMMON ]
no subject
...This...this enemy is...quite formidable...to think it would be possible to simulate the experience of drowning, all while keeping my feet on dry land...I may need someone aligned with earth to assist me...
[Without his lance he can't even clog it up and ruin the whole thing by accident. Tragic, really.]
Child of man...you should run away...this fight may become even more violent!
[ITARU PLEASE HE IS DOING THIS TO PROTECT YOU]
no subject
No, it's all right. You've fought well, my comrade.
[ oh god why is he turning on the theatrics himself too?! ]
But now, it is my turn to assist you. You see, I have been saving this special ability for last, in case the monster has not been completely defeated... Guess it's time to show you how it's really done.
[ he approaches the side of the building, grasping his right arm that's twitching violently. ]
Gah-- my Gacha Arm tingles... Cease this torrential downpour at once!
[ AND HE SLAMS HIS PALM ONTO THE BUTTON THAT STOPS THE ACTIVITY INSIDE THE CAR WASH ]
no subject
[AMAZING.....THIS GUY IS AMAZING!!!]
You—you, too, have a terrible power sealed within your arm...! And to think I couldn't sense it at all...no, I still can't sense it! Your ability is like that of a vicious undercurrent, placid on the surface, urging the warfaring waters to a gentle slumber...yes, I shall bequeath upon you the title the Lord of the Tides!
[you're sailor mercury now itarusan]
no subject
Ufufu. Not a bad namesake, if I do say so myself. Not as bad as the Knight of the Lake, but I shall take it.
[ he sweeps his arm out, as if he's swishing his imaginary cape. god, this is ridiculous. ]
Although, since we are going to be here for a while, I'd rather you call me by my true name. 'Tis Itaru - and you are?
no subject
[He falters briefly. What is this place called, anyway?]
...place,
[nailed it]
I am free to address you with the manners expected of me. I am none other than the disciple of the Wind Primarch himself—gentle as the breeze that playfully strokes your cheek on a spring day, yet as powerful as a world-rending typhoon! I am the Mad Cyclone...I am the God of War...I am......GRIIIIIIIIIIIMNIIIIIIIIR!
[This is the best self-introduction he's given yet. In his defense, he's very excited.]
