( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently? In addition, characters will find that they've been allowed to bring back souvenirs from this most recent trip - trinkets, nothing violent, but items that can fit in your character's pockets, whether that be sentimental or otherwise.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. For those who have been here a while, they might notice some expansions. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
It might've changed since the last time you saw it. Today it reads:
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin. In addition to that, it seems like Home Base is on the fritz again…?
It seems that suddenly and at random, characters will be able to suddenly see visions of memories that aren't their own flash before their eyes. Pieces of your lives or where you were before this will suddenly slam into other's heads, as clearly as if they experienced the event and the feelings themselves. You might have an inkling of where your memory went and what it was - but you'll need to talk it out with that person in order to recollect it in all its strength back to yourself. Don't you want to keep those precious parts of yourself? It's best if you don't fall more to pieces while you're here. (Memories that have been lost in fragments cannot be sent to others - that's more fun for the future!)
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Or maybe you'll get a glimpse of where you're going next. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

(*´ω`)o That wasn't so bad, was it?
Hey, you know how that old song goes?
Do you believe in magic? (☆▽☆) Do ya?
Hope you found what you were looking for!

.... okay.
Then if we're partners, we both have to get out of this weird situation. I can't go home without you, you can't go home without me.
no subject
but he decides not to, since that will probably just freak senri out again. ]
Fine. Deal.
no subject
... mm, deal.
[and he'll extend his hand to taka, like he wants them to shake on it]
no subject
and will slowly reach forward and take it. they are shaking hands. ]
no subject
Now we definitely have to get your memories of me back!
You even said some kind of decent things to me? You won't believe it until you remember for yourself though.
no subject
[ did they actually become friends? is that possible?? ]
no subject
[that could've hurt him a lot. and he thinks that the more he remembers about that first week, that could've been possible.
he put a lot of trust in taka, after all. a lot of hope, too.]
.... nevermind. It's probably something dumb.
no subject
he crosses his arms. ]
You think I fucked up somehow.
[ senri did blame taka earlier and claim that whatever fight they had was his fault. ]
no subject
... Or I did.
[there's the possibility of that,,]
... but you don't even remember how hard I was trying so it's not like you'd believe me.
no subject
All I know is that-- I don't know. Somehow, you mattered enough that you're supposedly a piece of my soul. I don't know if that means something bad happened, or what...
no subject
Or what, something good happened between us?
Ah, if they really took something like that from us, that's really mean of them, you know? We've been arguing for nearly a year...! It'd be nice if that changed somewhere...
[lmao]
no subject
[ maybe something really big happened that involved senri? it doesn't have to be something very good, or very bad objectively, but... maybe if it was something that mattered enough, it would explain why he had to forget him entirely. ]
Whatever. We either figure it out or we don't.
no subject
[bEING IN PIECES SOUNDS SO SCARY]
no subject
[ bitch ]
no subject
Second! I don't know anyone else here that well yet, so no.
[he'll take the devil roommate he knows than the devil he doesn't]
no subject
So hurry up and befriend someone else then.
no subject
[ :( :( :( ]
no subject
Anyway, it's easy to get used to things here. You don't have to be as on edge around the others.
no subject
Did you make friends?
no subject
[ shut up senri ]
no subject
Well... you could've....
There's no murderers just trying to get their kicks here then?
no subject
[ he pauses ]
So don't worry about it.
no subject
I feel like I have to worry about it a little?
Have you been dealing with all of that so far, Bakaomi?
no subject
[ stop saying that ]
And anything is better than the murder Olympics.
[ a pause. he just remembered the olympics from here. ]
