( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently? In addition, characters will find that they've been allowed to bring back souvenirs from this most recent trip - trinkets, nothing violent, but items that can fit in your character's pockets, whether that be sentimental or otherwise.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. For those who have been here a while, they might notice some expansions. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
It might've changed since the last time you saw it. Today it reads:
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin. In addition to that, it seems like Home Base is on the fritz again…?
It seems that suddenly and at random, characters will be able to suddenly see visions of memories that aren't their own flash before their eyes. Pieces of your lives or where you were before this will suddenly slam into other's heads, as clearly as if they experienced the event and the feelings themselves. You might have an inkling of where your memory went and what it was - but you'll need to talk it out with that person in order to recollect it in all its strength back to yourself. Don't you want to keep those precious parts of yourself? It's best if you don't fall more to pieces while you're here. (Memories that have been lost in fragments cannot be sent to others - that's more fun for the future!)
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Or maybe you'll get a glimpse of where you're going next. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

(*´ω`)o That wasn't so bad, was it?
Hey, you know how that old song goes?
Do you believe in magic? (☆▽☆) Do ya?
Hope you found what you were looking for!

and yet - this is more than a little weird. should he be elated that tsukasa's finally eating healthy? ]
Oi, are you sure you're fine? This sundae's going to melt, you know. And for the record, I am not eating that.
[ and let tsukasa fucking die? ]
no subject
[ this is quite upsetting tbh. his look is back to being Very Worried. ]
It isn't as if I completely hate it, but I don't want it.
no subject
[ izumi.............. sighs. ]
Well, whatever. Go find someone else who'd eat it for you.
[ he finally bites into his lettuce wrap, chewing once and twice as if discerning its taste. ]
Mm. This needs bacon.
no subject
B-- Bacon? Did I hear that right? My wonderful but extremely health-conscience-to-the-point-of-detrimate-of-morale senpai would like bacon on his lettuce wrap!? [ well... a little bacon is ok but sena isnt the person he expects to want that. maybe leo But Not Sena. ] Are you feeling alright..? Has the sudden change in scenery done you more ill than I fear it may have caused me? Sena-san?
no subject
yeah, you're getting a hard flick on the forehead for that ]
Is it wrong to add even an iota of meat in a lettuce wrap, huh, Kasa-kun?! I live in freakin' Florence now, and you expect me not to eat any meat-based protein while I'm there? Aside from tastebuds, you seem to have lost some of your braincells while you're at it, have you?!
[ DON'T MAKE HIM GET UP FROM HIS SEAT AND STRANGLE YOU ]
no subject
no subject
...Whatever. But you're right about one thing. Not gonna lie, but being in a place like this is stressing me out more than a little. We're both too busy upholding our unit's name to be involved in some stupid otherworldly plot.
[ he takes another grumpy bite of his wrap, his rage simmering down a tad. ]
Have you found anyone else from Yumenosaki yet?
no subject
THERE IS NO ENJOYMENT HERE..... he is so upse ] It may just be us here... I suppose that isn't the worst thing that could've happened though. Certainly if I were stuck somewhere strange, I'd rather have my servants or my lady, but if it's out of everyone in Knights... Mmmm, there are worse picks than Sena-san for sure, I suppose.
no subject
[ uhhhhhh ]
Well, two out of five people isn't so bad. The rest can keep up the fort till we come back from [ hand gestures ] wherever the hell this is.
no subject
I think Lead... Leo-san would be helpful in his own way, but losing him somewhere like this feels alike to losing sight of a spider... It makes my stomach ache in worry. [ siiigh. ] Still, not having him in my sights produces the same effect. I wonder if I'll ever be able to sleep soundly again.
no subject
Honestly, I'd rather have him raid the fridge at my house again. That's one comforting thing to think about. [ at least he'd be safe. let his fellow knights take care of this. ] But speaking of bedding, where the hell are we supposed to sleep in the meantime?
no subject
...A very good question. I suppose that there must be accommodations somewhere, whether or not they're comfortable... [ where is his goosedown luxurious bed with lavendar scents and fresh soft blankets ): ] Shall we look around once we're through with snacking?
no subject
[ munch, and he hands the rest of it to tsukasa. ]
I'm serious about the bacon, though. Go get some for me.
no subject
it comes in the form of a new wrap though because tsukasa felt sort of weird about just shoving? bacon? INTO THIS ONE??? so-- ]
Here you are, Sena-san, but please do not treat me like some common servant. I might be your junior still, but I still deserve some respect.
no subject
[ stupid sing-songy voice. he does respect his darling junior to an extent, but he really did miss bullying kids like him. glad that hasn't changed yet. ]
Now let's hurry up so that we can figure out where we're staying the night. Hopefully we won't have to share beds or anything stupid like that.
no subject
Hopefully. [ a sad look at the sundae.... he was Highkey Stressed about being here too, but sena's presence makes him feel a little better. just a little. ] Though I've never had the chance to share one before... Fufu, perhaps it would actually be quite fun to do so ♪
no subject
Seriously? I think it'd be annoying as hell. Bet you'd be the type to hog all the blankets and toss and turn in your sleep.
no subject
[ ugh........ ritsu................... ]
no subject
[ even though ritsu whisks him away in the kotatsu but that was against izumi's will and therefore it does not count. ]
no subject
...Even if it's king's orders, Sena-san~?
no subject
Look, we don't even know where exactly we are staying for the night. So don't be too presumptuous.
no subject
jesus christ no wonder leo-san turned out to be such a gremlin ]
Fufu... I was kidding, anyway. [ probably. this power  ] Let's take a walk and figure that out then.
[ ...he will casually leave his very healthy lettuce wrap with his very unhealthy sundae, let's go- ]
no subject
No, bring that with you. Did your parents not teach you about wasting food? You should be ashamed of yourself.
[ they can walk and eat at the same time tho?? ]
no subject
...All right. [ he'll
he'll take both of them, actually. don't wanna waste either of his wrap or his sundae, with that logic. ] It's fine as long as they get eaten one way or another, right...?
no subject
[ ... ]
I'm still not going to help you with that sundae, though. You made that bed, so now you have to lay in it.
