( AND SO IT BEGINS. )
There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
Well - that, and all the people who seem to have woken up alongside you, lost and also probably Doing Their Best™.
There's no need to fret that much though. It's hard to say exactly where you're going next, even though some places might feel a little bit more like a clue, but what you do know is one unshakeable thing:
There's still much more ahead of you.

[He ain't asking questions okay he's just here to enable gremlins. He'll shove the ones he already pulled out into Akira's hands and then lean over his shopping cart to shake a sleeve out... More kazoos fall into it, along with a grapefruit for some reason.]
If you need any extras, I still have more than my fair share. I'd like everyone here to get at least one, if possible! These really are one of the best things I've found so far, haha.

[HMMM. He seems to be seriously giving this some consideration?? He's brother poor, after all, he can use all the help he gets. But in the end, it's not money he's after, so he just shakes his head.]
It's not like we seem to need currency to buy things here, right? So I won't charge in that! Instead, anyone who wants a melon or grapefruit will have to play a song on a kazoo, and anyone who wants a kazoo will have to promise to take another and give it to a friend.
[So the curse just keeps on spreading... Beautiful.]

Haha, probably! But really, I think it would be well-worth the risk, don't you think? Just imagine! Walking down a path and the distant sound of a kazoo can be heard coming from any direction you decide to travel.
