welcome mingle
( AND SO IT BEGINS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
Well - that, and all the people who seem to have woken up alongside you, lost and also probably Doing Their Best™.
There's no need to fret that much though. It's hard to say exactly where you're going next, even though some places might feel a little bit more like a clue, but what you do know is one unshakeable thing:
There's still much more ahead of you.

[ He will still worry about it, but logically, there's no reason to. They have more important things to worry about, like whether they can find the cakes before they starve to death. ]

[eyeing Kano thoughtfully. AKIRA THINKS HE'S WORRIED ABOUT IT]

[ MAYBE HE'S WORRIED ABOUT IT, BUT WHEN DOES THAT EVER MATTER ]

You're worried about it.
[you don't have to have a reason to be worried to be worried!! or something]

[ Lay off him, Akira!! Maybe he's embarrassed or something, but he walks a little faster and maybe he can shorten this whole five mile thing. All he wanted was to eat cake. ]

It is, actually.
Come to think of it, I may have left the engine of my van running.

He~h... Were you driving when you got spirited away? Dangerous. That's dangerous.
[ If it's just idling in the driveway, at least all the gas will burn off eventually and it'll die. Worst case scenario, somebody steals Akira's van. ]

[EXTREMELY DANGEROUS]
[anyway technically Makoto was driving. it's fine]

You can't get a citation if you never stop driving. Just keep going. Don't let the cops catch you.
[ When you're already in too deep, you might as well see how far you can go. Bad life advice from Shuuya Kano. ]

[FORLORNLY]
"Daredevil teen attempts to outrun cops. High speed road chase underway."

[ Why forlorn!! Sound more excited, Akira ]
