welcome mingle
( AND SO IT BEGINS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably.
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble.
Well - that, and all the people who seem to have woken up alongside you, lost and also probably Doing Their Best™.
There's no need to fret that much though. It's hard to say exactly where you're going next, even though some places might feel a little bit more like a clue, but what you do know is one unshakeable thing:
There's still much more ahead of you.

As soon as he realizes he's been looking for a little bit too long, though, he quickly looks away, because staring is Rude.]
—Sorry. I just, I wasn't expecting... I mean, are those real? The, uh, the horns.
no subject
Of course they're real. Why would I have fake horns?

[This is awkward, even for him, so he's changing the subject fairly quickly.]
Anyways, uh, what's your name? I'm Hunter. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
... Taksaka.
[he waits, to see if this guy'll react at all to his name.]
no subject
Well, we hopefully won't be here very long, but... You want to look around, anyways? It can't hurt to explore a little.
no subject
It doesn't seem as though there's much of a choice.

[Off he goes! In a random direction, because he has no idea where anything is. This void is wild.]
Hey, if we're going to be exploring buddies [stop], maybe we should get to know each other a little bit?
no subject
... How so?

[He pauses, though, waiting for him to expand on that or give an additional answer.]
no subject
there is no additional answer.]

And when you aren't sleeping...?

[His eyes flick up to the horns again for a second.]

[After a second:]
Unless that's rude. You can tell me if it's rude.

[Either way, he clearly thinks it’s cool.]

Oh my god. You can turn into a dragon? Or - you're a dragon who can sometimes look like this?!
[He's Very Excited.]
