( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

It certainly would be an experience that's for certain.
no subject
I assume it's not what you're looking for, though.
no subject
Not at all. [ there's a quirk of the beard, clearly hiding a grin ] I was looking for the tea.
no subject
That tells me something about you, I think. [ Royce says, vaguely amused. ] A man is kidnapped and placed in a world that makes no sense whatsoever, and the first thing he does is look for tea.

One could say I'm simply used to it. [ IS HE THO. MORTIS WAS A TRYING TIME. ] But I simply cannot find the need to panic. My instincts shall guide me to where I'm being led to.
no subject
Here. [ He tosses the box down. ] What do you make of this place?
no subject
Strange, that’s for certain. [ even to the space man used to Weird Shit ] There are definitely more questions than answers this place brings.
no subject
I haven't entirely discounted the idea that I'm hallucinating. Or dead.
no subject
How curious. Different universe coalescing together? [ stroke stroke goes the beard ] I've never come across anything to allow such before.

I'm taking a small guess you don't know where Coruscant is.
no subject
No. Never heard of it.
no subject
[ thank you for proving his point ]
There must be something rather powerful at play to allow such a thing to happen.
no subject
Any solid ideas on what, or are we just going with "something powerful and vague"?
no subject
Well, unless there was anything helpful you were able to ascertain from that rather welcoming pillar.

[ not that. the message was that great to begin with but, ]
Whoever this writer is, they certainly have... a way with words.
[ obnoxious is the unspoken sentiment here. ]
no subject
[ They're both grumpy old men, apparently. ]
no subject
I figured that part was a given.
