( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

And then it just YOINKS OUT FROM UNDER HER like a carpet getting tugged. IF SHE WON'T JUMP SHE'S GONNA HAVE TO FALL!! Is she or is she just going to spiderman cling with her arms of steel...]
no subject
Did you see what that was?
no subject
Ah— I didn't, but this might be a problem! This store has a bit of a ghost problem, you see - they don't act up very often, but when they do, it can get bad before you even blink. Hold tight, would you? I'll see if I can find anything to help get you down!
no subject
I'm good, thanks.
no subject
[At around the same time he says "trouble", a big ol' pot to her left just gets wholeass pushed off the shelf, where it clatters loudly to the ground.]
no subject
[She says, as she kind of shimmies her way sideways across the shelves, away from the aforementioned pot.]
no subject
[As she shimmies her way sideways away from the pot, another pan closer to where she's moseying goes flying off the shelves, too... It's fine!]
no subject
[ [shimmying intensifies] but downwards this time]
no subject
The boxes here are quite sturdy! I've climbed up a few of them myself, since it's hard to reach the top shelves otherwise unless you just climb up the shelf. No one wants to see a footprint on their bag of flour, though.
no subject
[Until then, she's just here being Stubborn.]
no subject
[AND OFF HE NYOOMS TO FIND BOXES TO CARRY BACK...
It'll take him a little while, but back he does trot, a stack of crates in his arms! How far down is she by now...]
no subject
As she notices him:]
...Oh, you made it.
no subject
Wei Wuxian pauses for a second and then groans in the most overdramatic way, setting down his armful of crates.]
After all of that work...! [EMMA.] Goodness... Well, at least you made it down alright. No other troubles along the way? How is your leg holding out?
no subject
[She does not sound sorry at all.]
Yeah. Funny, as soon as you left nothing else fell off the shelves at all. [suspicious!!] And my leg's fine.
no subject
[WHINING AND GRIPING as if he didn't try to topple Emma from the shelf just moments ago. It's fine.]
Hah, well, I'm known for being a bit of a bad luck magnet, and I do deal with spirits for a living! [Ghostbusters... ANYWAY--] Are you certain? I can point you in the direction of one of our medics, if you need any help.
no subject
[She just gives him a Look when he says he deals with spirits for a living, before she moves on.]
Nah. I just got out of the hospital, so it should be fine until I can figure out how to get out of here.
no subject
Right - about that! We're still working on finding a way out. Some of us have been here for a few weeks, maybe a little longer.
[Not making much progress, needless to say.]
no subject
Are you just all really bad with directions, or...?
no subject
Oh, no! ...Well, maybe some of us? [He doesn't know how people live their lives.] But this is a store in a void.
no subject
[She looks at him for another moment, before she says, in a very gentle voice:]
Okay. That's nice. I'm gonna go, though, so catch you later?
no subject
Hm, will you actually listen to what I have to say if you go take a look for yourself?
[GO SEE THE VOID, STRANGE LADY!!]
no subject
[she's just gonna go awol]
no subject
Next time indeed! All of the trains go to the same place sooner or later, after all.
[As normal trains do, you know.]
Good luck, miss!
