( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

I'm willing to explore if you are. [Uncrossing his arms and shifting his weight a little, his hair sways behind him.] Have you tried to reply to the message we received prior?
no subject
[ she taps her chin. ]
They were super fwiendly, weren't they?
no subject
That's not the word I would use to describe them.
no subject
[ please stop using uwu speech ]
But it's hard to get a proper sense through just text.
no subject
You don't need to talk like that. [She really doesn't!!] As for the message, I think it's patronizing. Holding back on information when they know we have plenty of questions to ask.
no subject
[ like the murder? there were a lot of things concerning about
the murder. ]
I wonder if they're hiding...
no subject
[Or just a chance to ask them.]
I’d like to know how to rebuild ourselves, and exactly what’s gone missing.
no subject
[ she pats her chest. ]
I have someone who's missing.
no subject
[Is missing a person the same as missing a piece of themselves?]
no subject
They're kind of naughty, so I'm hoping I can get them back soon.
no subject
There's supposed to be someone in your chest? What do you mean?
no subject
[ this is why she keeps patting her chest ]
But when I showed up here, they were gone.
no subject
This is somewhat more of an explanation, but still baffling all the same.]
...How can you imprison someone in your body?
no subject
I just stuck their soul into my body.
[ nailed it ]
no subject
You can take someone’s soul? That’s...
[Wait.]
Then you should have more insight regarding how or why ours are apparently broken.
no subject
[ as if hajime has ever considered if maybe shoving another soul into your body might have consequences or not ]
Maybe J.J. would know, but I don't think he's here to ask?
no subject
It’s your own ability. You don’t understand it?
[She just said she didn’t.]
Who’s J.J.?
no subject
[ she basically had no idea if it was going to work or not but she shouted yolo anyway ]
J.J. is the one who gave me my powers. He's reeeeally tall! Even taller than you!! And a god or something, I guess!
no subject
Is that something that happens where you're from? Gods granting people powers?
no subject
[ she throws up a peace sign ]
no subject
That doesn’t mean anything to me.
no subject
[ she starts digging into her pockets
and pauses ]
Ah? It's gone.
no subject
[First the "soul" in her chest, and now something else...?]
no subject
[ she proceeds to not explain what that is. ]
I guess the marble was telling the truth.
no subject
This "NOTE" is something important to you?
