( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

A trick, huh? If the train blew something, don'tcha think we should check it out? It'd be pretty bad to get stranded.
[ They would have to WALK everywhere, which is the worst. ]
no subject
What, I'm supposed to believe you're a train mechanic?
no subject
[ There are anthropomorphic bats here, and Kano cannot be a train mechanic? Come on. ]
no subject
[Baren hasn't met the bat yet, so.]
Name a train fact a mechanic would know.

If you pull the choo choo bell too many times in a row, you piss off a dragon and are liable to get eaten unless you've got spare poptarts to use as distraction.
no subject
Baren just. Waves a hand.]
I must've been mistaken, no way it's a trick, go repair your train and your dragon, kid.

[ But yeah, he is prepared to walk out and immediately get gunned down by whatever's out there, but he's not going to do it on an empty stomach. I have never been to a bar in my life so I have no idea what it's like BUT something something bar nuts, and Kano grabs a handful of cashews to stuff in his pocket so he can die on a full stomach. ]

Don't you know? Most dragons are. It's a part of being so mythical.
[haku is out there somewhere, offended]
no subject
What, the mythics take a toll on their heads? So sad for them~ But they're not a lost cause, right? This one seems to like poptarts! Or, poptart wrappers. Shiny trash wrappers.

This one's a dragon for garbage dumps.
no subject
[IMMEDIATELY GIVES UP
AS IF BAREN HIMSELF DOES NOT BELONG TO A GARBAGE DUMP]
