( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.

When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?

The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.

You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.

There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:

There's still much more ahead of you.

I'd like to know that, too! I'm afraid it's a mystery to must of us. Even if some of us have ideas, we have no way of confirming them. The person behind all those messages seems to only believe in telling us things, not communicating.

[ Her smile is ever present. There's nothing to really tell that she's angry about that, her tone light and polite, but if she stopped smiling, there really would be no hiding her anger. ]

So it's possible for someone to end up in a faction that's ill-suited to them? And this is something widely known among the people here?

I would say it's possible. I wouldn't say it's widely known. Some of us may have been here for longer than you have been, but others seem to have shown up around the time you have.

[ And it's not like the people who have been here for a month or however long it's been (because really, do any of them know how time works in the Space?) have had the faction emblems for long. ]

Either way, the symbols are fairly new for all of us.

I see...

[ Hrm, hard to say if that was any comfort to hear or not. ]

It sounds as if there's no certain reason for the factions, then? No shared goal or anything of that sort?

If you believe the things you read, it's to fix your broken self.

[ She says that, chipper as can be. ]

Well, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough if there will be more to differentiate ourselves. It looks like we may be transported somewhere in the near future.

But isn't that a goal shared by all of the factions...?

[ Lux sighs... This is confusing. ]

Yes. We shouldn't be opposed, no matter our factions.

[ Not now. Or at least, not yet. There's nothing to say about what the future may have in store for them. ]

You are not alone.

[ Her smile is kind. ]
