( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.
When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?
The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.
You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.
There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:
There's still much more ahead of you.

Why not? It would be interesting to read. And it might give me a few clues as to who exactly brought me here.
[MAYBE!!!]
If it called me a cursed being meant for hell, then I could at least tell that it's someone from my town -- or someone who knows me well. Either way, I'd like to read more than just silly faces and vague phrasing.
no subject
Are you saying people called you a cursed being meant for hell back home?! [ Talk about harsh. ] Geez, anyone who'd say that to someone else has got to be a real jerk!
no subject
She doesn't say anything for several moments, then she lets out a neutral 'hm' and tilts her head.]
Would they still be a jerk if they were telling the truth? That's how people usually are, aren't they? If they see something they think is a monster, then they'll point it out -- regardless of the accused.

It's fine to be honest about some things. Like pointing out when someone has a pimple so they can do something about it. Or telling someone they're rude when they're being rude. [ Minako is blunt so often that it'd be hypocritical for her to claim any different.. ] But there's a huge difference between saying that and calling someone a monster! Or a cursed being!
[ She looks over at Okuni. ]
Besides, what part of you is supposed to be some sort of hell-being? You look so pretty! You're at least a strong nine on the cute girl scale!
jelle.... that tag is so soft
But you know, none of Minako's words are wrong?? Okuni is also a firm believer in "be honest about everything, especially if it embarrasses someone else", even if she uses it to be RUDE more often than not...]
My, you really are an honest person. And you have good taste too!
[okuni when men call her pretty: yeah and what of it?
okuni when women call her pretty: HELL YEA HELL YEA]
You're not so bad yourself. I've never seen hair that shade before -- it's pretty.
[sakichi has green hair but whatever, he's probably the only weird anime boy in her canon]
i can't believe how quickly we're tumbling straight into this cr
Ah, really? [ Being a blonde doesn't feel so novel when your best friend is also one
and your hair is actually so you can be her body double in case you need to sacrifice yourself for her I MEAN, but she smiles at it all the same and flips her hair on purpose. ] Well, this is all natural! Maybe whoever wrote that rude text is for some reason kidnapping only beautiful women to this place?[ Because clearly both of them fall into that category! ]
LSDKFJSD it's the power of sailor v
Okuni laughs because the idea of a Little Women/Birds of Prey situation in Fractura would have been pretty great actually... WOW]
That would make things a lot more interesting, but unfortunately, I did see some men! [UNFORTUNATE... but then she perks up] And my brother is here and he's as beautiful as any woman, so... Perhaps beauty is a factor?
no subject
Your brother? [ She leans a little closer to Okuni. ] What is he like? If he's as beautiful as you, then he has to be charming too, right? Would you say he's like a prince?
no subject
Of course! Baren is the most charming man you'll ever meet! I'll have you know that I'm not saying this just because he's my twin and I'm biased -- he really is wonderful, alluring, and charismatic. He's super reliable too -- he does most of the cleaning and cooking, and animals and women alike adore him. He's handy with the needle and he does my hair every morning and he's always the first one to wake up in the morning and he's very, very strong. See, even though I was taken to this place without any warning, Baren still managed to find me. I know that we'll find a way out right away now that he's here! You can depend on him for just about anything!
[baren, somewhere: playing a kazoo over the intercom and ruining people's lives probably]
no subject
And that slowly makes a plan hatch in her mind. Sure, being stuck in this weird place is.. not fun. To say the least. But maybe she can at least get something good out of it. That Baren sounds like a pretty amazing guy, so maybe.. getting a charming dependable boyfriend + getting a pretty fun sister-in-law + ??? = profit..?
Or really, she's willing to swap Baren and Okuni in that equation around if it's more convenient. Minako is all for equal opportunities.
(This plan is going to sink like the Titanic the moment she meets Baren.) ]
.. I think I really have to meet this guy now. [ Suddenly she sounds so resolved.. ] As soon as possible, even!
no subject
I really like your enthusiasm! [It’s not like Okuni was doubting the power of Baren’s charms or anything, but she’s still pleased. PLEASED AS PUNCH] I’ll introduce you to him right away then.
[why did their priorities shift from ‘escape’ to ‘the bachelorette’]
Why don’t you tell me your name in the meantime? I'm Okuni Kumou.
no subject
My name is Minako, Minako Aino! Nice to meet you! [ A little less resolved, a little more sweet.. She just wants to be nice while introducing herself to someone she already likes. ]
