( WELCOME BACK, TRAVELERS. )

There's nothing but the clatter of train tracks, and the odd feeling of almost floating.

When you wake, it's hard to tell exactly what it is that you're missing - only that you are. There are pieces that aren't quite right, even if you're not sure where those pieces would normally be. Pieces of what, exactly....? Well, if you had to put a word to it, it would be - yourself, probably. Or did you get something back recently?

The place you've found yourself in is strange, certainly. It's probably worth exploring a bit. Though it just as easily seems that the only form of welcome or explanation that you have, comes from nothing more than a slab of marble. It might've changed since the last time you saw it.

You might have changed since the last time you saw yourself too - perhaps with a new emblem on your clothes, or a portrait on your skin.

There's no need to fret that much though. You've already gone through the ordeal once, and you might be able to see results from it. Even so, it's best that you don't get too comfortable, because there is still the unshakeable feeling:

There's still much more ahead of you.

[The lingering piece of something not his makes him pause in surprise. It didn't come out of Wei Wuxian's lips... His eyes narrow.

And then the face he makes confirms Wei Wuxian's suspicions, but it also looks incredibly put-off by it. He seems to have a kind of resilient fortitude for the aching sting the tattoos are giving even when he looks twelve. Hm.

There's really nothing to his expression except the occasional bend to his brows.]

I can hear you.

[Hm indeed!! Granted he's seen some resilient kids in his life, but still.

Either way, he doesn't seem at all surprised that Haku is also in this weird hell, simply canting his head from one side to the other as if considering the implications. Sudden mind-reading... Funky, but not the strangest thing to happen to him in his lives.]

So you can! Inconvenient, isn't it? Can't tell if I like it less than the obnoxious burning, though.

[Of course, he doesn't want to hear anyone else's mind really, especially not someone like Wei Wuxian (or Lan Wangji either, but he doesn't know that yet), but he also super doesn't want people to hear his own mind... which is what he assumes may be happening.

A transference of minds because of some spell.]

The burning I can ignore. [WEI WUXIAN SAYING SHIT IN THE BRAIN ORGAN, HE CAN'T. Terrible. He truly suffers.] If it's a spell, we can try to find how to remove it.
givethemhell: (have you heard?)

[WOW EXCUSE YOU his mind is wholesome and fine to poke around in, unlike Lan Wangji's, who is the real curse between the two of them.]

We could, we could. I'll do a little poking around myself and see if I can find anything useful!

[Spoilers he will not.]

Good time to practice meditation otherwise, hm?

[No, the both of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are AWFUL.]

I'm leaving it up to only you.

[Wow, one world, and he already knows Wei Wuxian isn't going to help him do shit! GOD!]

I'll be looking, too.
givethemhell: (this smile has a nya sound effect)

[Well, that is true and fair. also i'm assuming you meant "not" even if it'd be funny as hell for haku to be like ONLY YOU CAN DO THIS JOB.]

Haha, well, I'd assume nothing less of you! The more eyes we have on the problem, the higher our chances are of solving it. Let me know if you find anything, won't you?
